GERUND

A GERUND is a verb in its “ing” form (the present participle) for example : raining, dancing, laughing, thinking, creating, running, and so on.

Example Gerund As a Subject
-Playing the piano is my hobby.
-Reading a book is good for knowledge.
-Cooking is fun.

Example Gerund As an Object
-I like drinking milk.
-I love shopping with my friend.
-I love playing the piano.

Example Gerund As an Adverb
-Don’t forget for praying when you want sleep.
-I want go to Los Angeles for meeting Geyson Chance.
-Please take a bath before you leaving.
